By hosting volunteers, the non-profit organization “Les Stations de Plein Air” hopes to improve the spaces used to host children and organize their activities. Volunteers are therefore expected to carry out manual renovation work. They will prepare the bedrooms and common areas on the first floor of "Pavillon Albert" to accommodate groups in the future. They will be painting walls, cleaning, and carrying out minor repairs.
If they progress quickly, they could also help replace the vinyl flooring in the kitchen, as well as maintain the park's green spaces (for example, trimming hedges, staking fruit trees, etc.).
They will be accompanied in these tasks by Sekou, one of the non-profit's staff member.
A project for budding DIY enthusiasts!

Volunteers will be accommodated on the ground floor of "Pavilion Albert." In addition to a kitchen and several bedrooms with bunk beds, they will have access to a large living room and, of course, to the park.
They will prepare their own breakfast and dinner. Lunch will be provided by the organization’s kitchen and shared with the activity leaders and children from the summer camps.
Please inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements so that we can organize the shopping.

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and Europe.
The park was commissioned by king Leopold II to embellish the Woluwe-Saint-Pierre district that became the most elegant and the greenest part of Brussels. Les Station de Plein Air, created in 1933, is one of the first playgrounds in Brussels.
Upon request, the non-profit can provide you with board games, books and comics.
On Sunday and at the end of the work days, you can take advantage of the recommendations and advice from the non-profit's staff members to visit the city with your group.

The non-profit organization “Les Stations de Plein Air” has been organizing activities for children for almost a hundred years: activities after school and during school holidays, as well as residential activities for schools outside of Brussels. It also organizes training for future youth leaders, equipping teenagers and young adults to lead children's activities themselves.
The organization pays particular attention to promoting social diversity in its activities and making them financially accessible to as many kids as possible.
It is located in a nine-hectare park, called “Parc Parmentier”, in a green area of the city, where it also has an educational vegetable garden.
