Learn the art of mosaics by decorating picnic tables by the river! Supervised by a specialist, this creative work will be a continuation of last year's on the theme of biodiversity. Mosaics are a fascinating craft, requiring meticulousness, agility and insight. The artistic work thus created will embellish the recreation area, while protecting the tables in this sensitive natural space for the long term.

You’ll be accommodated at a riverside campsite in Cessenon-Sur-Orb and be sleeping in individual tents (bring your own sleeping bag and mat). We also have a barnum for group living and all the necessary equipment. You will share in the various collective tasks, in particular the preparation of vegetarian meals, which you will take it in turns to prepare. We'll use healthy, local produce. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance!

The village of Cessenon-Sur-Orb is located north of Béziers in southern France. It is home to the Orb river, from which it takes its name. The area boasts an exceptional natural and cultural heritage. Take advantage of the many leisure and outdoor activities the area offers!

This is the seventh year of our partnership, with yet another project combining art and environmental protection in the beautiful village of Cessenon-Sur-Orb. Your work, combining environmental protection and creativity, will enhance this recreational area!

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for them, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Pensez à prendre des gants, des vêtements et des chaussures pour le travail. Les nuits peuvent être fraîches, apportez un bon duvet chaud. Il est fortement conseillé de savoir nager si vous souhaitez profiter des joies de la rivière. N’hésitez pas à apporter quelque chose que vous souhaitez partager avec les autres (une spécialité de votre pays, un instrument de musique, un objet culturel, etc.)
Het inschrijfgeld voor dit project bedraagt € 345, exclusief € 50 korting voor studenten en jongeren onder de 18.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 250.
