Volunteers will support the parents, teachers and older students to move the classroom material to the new building of the school.

Volunteers will stay in the teachers’ quarters in the new school building where there will be beds, showers and wc as well as a kitchen to cook their own meals. You may need to bring your own sleeping bag.

TRIANEMI Kindergarten and Primary School belongs to a parents’ and teachers’ non-profit association aiming at the multifaceted and harmonious
spiritual, moral and bodily development of the child. The school complex is situated in Maroussi, a suburb of Athens, around 17 km north of the capital’s
Centre. The kindergarten and primary school apply the Waldorf pedagogical method which was first introduced by Rudolf Steiner at the beginning of the 20 th century. This method aims at supporting the child to become a free person who will take initiative to form its own life meaning. Steiner spoke of the multifaceted development of the child, which does not only focus on the mental area but also on the body, sentiment, social and spiritual one.

Participants coming from SCI partner/contact or other CCIVS organizations will pay 50 euros as Incoming Volunteer Fee (IVF) to the camp leader.
Het inschrijfgeld voor dit project bedraagt € 345, exclusief € 50 korting voor studenten en jongeren onder de 18.
