Who has never dreamed of building a cabin in the woods, a place to take shelter for the summer, to disconnect for a while and reconnect with nature and the elements? Well, this time, it's your turn! We're waiting for you to bring this beautiful project to life. On the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in the heart of a wild yet welcoming natural environment, you’ll take part in the construction of two wooden stilt chalets. These chalets will later host groups of young people like yourself, looking for meaningful and empowering vacations.
Guided by a professional in carpentry and construction, you will learn how to design a lightweight, removable habitat. Step by step, while carefully following detailed plans, you will bring these charming little chalets to life, helping to transform a beautiful clearing below the main center. These morning construction sessions will allow you to develop skills in woodworking and design.
In the association’s lovely garden, you will also have the chance to showcase your gardening talents, contributing to its upkeep and harvesting seasonal fruits and vegetables—fresh and ready to be cooked!

You'll be accommodated in a collective single-sex dormitories. Amenities include toilets, showers. You need to bring your own sleeping bag. A washing machine is available for laundry. There is no wifi connection.
You will take part in the upkeep of the premises and in the preparation of meals, accompanied by a supervisor in the kitchen. Choices will be made collectively to ensure a balanced diet based on your tastes and local seasonal produce.

“La Pouzaque” it’s a hosting centre, near the city of Mazamet and Castres,, in Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park, 70 km east of Toulouse.
Arounds the Montagne Noire, you can enjoy fun activities like hiking, mountain biking, swimming, exploring caves, visiting villages, etc. – all while learning about nature and having a great time!
With the support of the animation team, you'll also organise activities and take part in meetings with the local population: international meals, intercultural games, film screenings, festivals, etc.

Join the project of the Association “Citrus” in partnership with the Association “La Pouzaque” and come build some chalets for the next camp's adventurers! It will take place in La Pouzaque, in the middle of the Black Mountain of Tarn region. In the centre of Occitanie, La Pouzaque benefits from an exceptional site within the Haut Languedoc Regional Natural Park. In the heart of the Montagne Noire forest, the renovated former farmhouse is a hosting place specialized in the field of environmental education.
Surrounded by the beauty of nature you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project that promotes environmental awareness, social values, and hands-on learning in a collaborative setting. It’s a place where people not only work but also grow in their understanding of how to live more responsibly on Earth.

Het inschrijfgeld voor dit project bedraagt € 345, exclusief € 50 korting voor studenten en jongeren onder de 18.
Let op: naast het inschrijfgeld betaal je ter plekke nog een lokale bijdrage van € 250.
